There was a time when I believed in waiting to have children until it was physically possible to blow them out my nose. I now wonder why my biggest concern was getting the child out of my body. I'm now a lot less worried about the pain of childbirth than I am the 18 years after. I SHOULD have been saying, "I'm not having children until they build a local (or any) military preschool." That may sound a little harsh. Oh well.

In all actuality, Harley has been very well-behaved lately. He's SO close on the potty-training. I really think I can get it done in the next couple of weeks, while I'm on break from school. A constant routine will help. His new daycare provider, which he's starting mid-August, has had a home daycare for 15 years and had a lot of tips for me. Wouldn't it be nice to only have ONE in diapers at a time? The answer is yes.

Since I've been writing so lovingly about babies (right?), I think I should post a few pictures I've done to remind myself how precious they can really be, and to share what I've been doing lately. They are soooo cute! This is Andi Sorenson and Wyatt Hoag, two of Harley's cousins.

  1. Jessie....I really enjoy looking into your day. I think you could write a book someday, or maybe a sitcom TV show?
